Case Study - Fast Dry Lay Tiles
Our client (a private bank) acquired four new branches and required a consistent look across the new estate which could be completed quickly, look fantastic and be technically fit for purpose. Our 1200*200 and 1200*150 wooden planks offered all of the above.
The project was installed over an existing tiled floor with 100 square metres being laid during a single night’s closure so the branch suffered no loss of operational functionality.
Here in lies the key benefit of our Fast range – the patented dry lay system allows large areas to be laid quickly with no lost time with adhesive or grout setting.
This system is perfect therefore for the retail environment minimising the potential for a reduction in selling time and having the additional benefit of the floor being uninstalled (and used again) without a need for repairs to the substrate.
Our Fast range comes in two design families. Four concrete inspired shades in a 800*200 format which we call “Forma” and eight wood inspired shades, four in 800*200 “Saloon” and an additional four in the larger 1200*200 and 1200*150 format called “Montenapoleone”.
Technically, all products in this range are porcelain achieving a R9/B slip rating. In regards to the Pendulum Test measure of slip resistance, the Saloon range is classified low slip potential in both wet and dry conditions for shod feet and the Forma range is classified low slip potential in the dry and moderate slip potential in the wet.
