Following our recent Spring product launch CTD Architectural Tiles Specification Manager Isabella Geer had the opportunity to host a Lunch & Learn session with prestigious Edinburgh A&D practice CDA (Comprehensive Design Architects).
CDA offer an integrated service, architectural, planning & interior design throughout the UK from its base in the Scottish capital.
This practice is consistently in the AJ 100 of top UK practices and has been recognised for their significant achievements within the industry. Business parks, high-end residential, education & leisure both new builds & refurbishments are common projects worked on by the team at CDA.
Specification Manager Isabella Greer told us “Our new Spring launch products were received really well and samples were requested straight away for the projects where finishes are being considered.”
CTDA Memento, a new concrete effect porcelain with 20mm options for an “in/out” look was of great interest at the event along with CTDA Powder, our new cement effect porcelain which includes some great decor pieces and peacock items such as mosaics & hexagons – all with +36 PTV in the wet slip resistance.
CTDA Realstones & CTDA Bistrot samples are winging their way to the CDA practice for consideration, along with CTDA Morne and CTDA Jurantina. CTDA Greyscale also caught the eye with its modular sizes proving to be an interesting topic of conversation, with its moody colours of greys & carbon.
CTDA 300° for salvaged timber effect porcelain with its funky 800*800 Tangram option raised questions as to where this item could be used as it is very unique and a true statement piece. Isabella was pleased to confirm that this stunning décor in suitable for commercial projects being porcelain and +36PTV in the wet. A true marriage of technical performance and high-end design.
The team at CDA made our recent Lunch & Learn a pleasure to be part of and we look forward to meeting with CDA again in the near future and supporting the projects they are developing.
